Metalsmithing is an ancient work that involves shaping and molding metals with a precise and delicate balance of power (usually supplied via a hammer or other instrumentation) and fire. All metalsmithing ultimately works toward the end-creation of practical items and tools, as well as jewelry and accessories.

Stacie Midori utilizes various tools in her Los Angeles studio to create her unique collection of men’s jewelry and women’s jewelry, including a jeweler’s saw for precision cutting, a rolling mill to create the right gauge and length of metal to work with, and various additional instruments like anvils, bench vises, soldering torches, flex shafts, and ring mandrels, to create the finished product.
